Jewish Vocational Service (JVS), founded in 1973, is a non-sectarian non-profit organization dedicated to helping people acquire the skills and resources to find and keep meaningful employment and make progress towards self-sufficiency. JVS provides community members with job navigation and vocational services including one-on-one employment counseling, individual and group training sessions, job search and placement services, retention and career advancement support and access to computers and specific skill enhancement trainings when needed.
