Clair Farley – TEEI Economic Development Coordinator: Clair Farley is a community leader, trans-mentor, activist, and Economic Development Coordinator of the nation’s first Transgender Economic Empowerment Initiative (TEEI) at the Center. Clair is active locally and nationally advocating for public policy, programs, and educational tools that address the barriers faced by LGBTQQ youth and transgender people. She served on the Board of Directors of LYRIC and on the Board of the nation’s first GLBTQ Online High School. Joe Jackson – TEEI Employment Specialist: Joe Jackson is a spouse, a step-dad and TEEI’s new Employment Specialist.  His work history and personal interests are oriented around matters of social justice for all systemically vulnerable individuals. He has organized and advocated for the needs of California Foster-Youth, Youth in contact with the Juvenile Justice system, and LBGT issues. He has also contributed to educating the UC Davis and Davis city communities on LBGT issues. Currently, serves the goals and interests of  job seekers in the TEEI program. Al Bersch – TEEI Employment Specialist: Al Bersch is an Employment Specialist with TEEI, coming from a background in community-based art and social justice. Recently Al worked as a folklorist, creating social history projects with people about their work lives. Al has facilitated workshops and taught classes at schools, organizations, and conferences about topics including photography, folklore studies, and collaboration.
