“A respectful work environment is a right, not a luxury”
Transgender Economic Empowerment Initiative’s Community Advisory Board (CAB) completed a two-poster of transgender people at work. The TEEI CAB is comprised of transgender and ally community members who are committed to working for the economic wellbeing of transgender and gender-nonconforming communities.
In designing and distributing the 2 posters, our CAB is excited to:
- Offer transgender and gender-nonconforming people hope that professional success is possible
- Remind allies and potential allies (including coworkers and people in charge of hiring) that transgender workers already are contributing, effective employees in all kinds of workplaces
- Create opportunities for workplaces to display their commitment to hiring transgender workers by posting these images along with other diversity-related materials
- Increase awareness of TEEI’s services and resources for transgender job-seekers in the San Francisco Bay Area.
