Starting your own business is a serious commitment, but how do you know that it’s right for you? Hear from a panel of TLGB entrepreneurs about some of the challenges and successes they’ve encountered starting their own business and learn what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. This workshop is hosted by TEEI and the Center’s Business & Microenterprise Development Program. Free, May 25th from 5:30pm-7pm at the LGBT Center. LinkedIn 101 workshop is designed to build better users of this growing site for professional networking. Guest presenter Ron Shuman, Area Director of People & Culture (SF, LA, SD) for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, will lend his expertise in social media networking and resourcing. He will demonstrate many of his own proven best practices, and offer an array of tips, tactics and techniques sure to increase your site successes. This workshop is for current LinkedIn users who want to become more familiar with the technology’s features and functions.
